Our Story

There wasn’t one wine, one trip, one experience that drew us to the wine industry but rather a childhood of living near some of the greatest AVA’s, vineyards & wineries in the New World. Having the ability to watch the land transform, year after year, season after season created a deep sense of respect and admiration for the people cultivating an experience that can be shared and enjoyed by many. Throw in a few years on the Central Coast getting a BS in Wine and Viticulture from Cal Poly and you have the makings of a dream to one-day be steward of your own land and your own wine.

But not all paths are linear. Some are filled with opportunities, challenges and lessons that cultivate you in ways you can’t imagine. So after having the chance to support a multigenerational family business in the medical device and manufacturing industry we find ourselves looking to build a new kind of family business – leaning on what we have learned with what we need to discover on our own.

Please join us as we build Copper Six Wine – a family owned and operated winery in Sonoma County. Just like how the weather may change a copper patina, our wines will hope to reflect each seasons different growing environment.
